Abstrakt
The article deals with a summary of the current research of capital punishment and torture on early modern age, especially from the point of view of legal, historical, historiographical and cultural-anthropological interpretation of the topic. The analysis of the results of previous research of primary sources, especially written sources is extraordinary linked with the genesis of multimedia practical experiments, which are confirming or refuting the validity of various, mostly physical dogmas as new entertainment-educational media platform. Despite a number of shortcomings and inaccuracies, some of which are discussed in more detail in the text, this format led to an interesting findings and indicated the direction that research could take in the future. From the author‘s point of view, it is a detailed analysis of primary sources, based on the results of which hypotheses are established, which are then multidisciplinary researched in laboratory conditions and tested by modern measurement techniques with a series of practical tests, performed using replicas of original technological instruments.
