This paper aims to bring some knowledge about the medieval charter from a collection of the Archive of Kostelec nad Orlicí, Ref. No. 3. This document was issued by Jindřich Lacembok of Chlum in 23rd April 1406 and by the wording of it he donated the village called Lán to the town Kostelec nad Orlicí. The charter was descripted from the diplomatic and paleographic perspectives as well as language analysis (Czech language of the 15th century), because it wasn’t yet been done, but the document was edited and published in older edition, so this article doesn’t bring the full wording of it. Modern copies of thus charter are also taken into account.
