Abstrakt
After the end of the First World War, the mood for reemigration rose among foreign compatriots, not only in Central, Eastern and Southeastern Europe, but also in the USA. The greatest interest in reemigration was among compatriots in Germany and Austria, which, like the defeated states, were in a bad economic situation. A similar situation was in Russia where a civil war broke out after the Bolshevik coup in November 1917.
