Abstrakt
Short article follows the previous contribution by B. Klíma, who discovered the Great Moravian fortified settlement in Znojmo, he evaluated it from the archaeological point of view and also dated an interesting discovery of two human skeletal remains thrown into a well. Anthropological research has provided more detailed information on both the tragically deceased people. The entire skeleton belonged to a sixyearold boy and a part of another skull belonged to an adult, about sixtyyearold man. The dating of the tragedy that B. Klíma associated with the conquest of the fortified settlement by the Hungarians before the mid10th century will be specified by a further research carried out by the C14 radiocarbon method.
