Monasteries of the Canons Regular of St. Augustine were subordinated to the jurisdiction of the diocesan bishop; there were no bonds between them on an ecclesiasticaladministration level and there was no central management of the order. The absence of formal legal bonds was partly substituted by confraternal bonds, through which the canonries formed a mutual liturgical and prayer community. In the article, we will concentrate on confraternity documents from 1386–1393. A critical edition of three confraternity documents issued by the Prague, Fulnek and Prostějov convents is attached.
