Abstrakt
The study presents the life and work of an important Czechoslovak translator from and into the Scandinavian languages PhDr. Emil Walter. Dr. Emil Walter devoted his life to Scandinavia, first as an employee of the Czechoslovak Ministry of Foreign Affairs and later as an exile and lecturer of Czech language and literature at Uppsala University.
