Abstrakt
At first the text presents the characteristics and specifics of cartoon and postage stamps as a source of information about historical facts, didactic and methodological aspects of the application in the teaching of history. Then it examines the characteristic turning points of migration at the expected reflection of chosen visual media. Eventually, through a specific model analysis it deals with the educational potential of postage stamps and cartoons in developing of media literacy and historical consciousness of pupils.
