This thesis deals with the participation of Volhynian women in the Czechoslovak military units, which were formed during the World War II on the territory of the Soviet Union (1st Czechoslovak Separate Field Battalion in the USSR, 1st Czechoslovak Separate Brigade in the USSR and 1st Czechoslovak Army Corps in the USSR). The contribution describes the work of Volhynian-Czech women in these units, with the emphasis on the form and their individual reasons for entering the units..
