Abstrakt
Significant anniversary of the Roman Emperor and Czech King Charles IV. also attracts the attention of the creators of comics. This popculture product resonates not only in school, but passes a reception in the educational process. Specific analysis in this text contributes to naming of risk elements of comics and its educational potential. For educational process it is necessary to draw a conclusion – Comics are mainly interpretation of reality. “Superman” comics (equipped with didactic apparatus) can then serve not only to develop pupils‘ media literacy, but also a deeper understanding of a particular historical topic.
