Abstrakt
Museum pedagogy is a science about theory and practise of education at the museum. The cradle of museum pedagogy is Germany. Thanks to a long tradition of museum education in this country offer German museums various educational programs for the general public, especially school, childern and youth. In the former Federal Republic of germany were founded inthe 70s of the 20th century the socalled new industrial museum. It is about authentic industrial building of former mines and factories. Museum educators these industrial monuments creat different education programs too. The programs for schools are in line with the school curriculum and focus on the competence and experience of students.
