The goal of this article is to give an overview of the situation in the villages on the former “Austerlitz battlefield” before the World War II liberation. The text deals with the advancement of the front towards the observed territory, trench construction and building of other obstacles, movement of the armies in observed villages, impact of air raids and bombings, and destruction of infrastructure by the German army near the arrival of the front.
