The article concerns the events of 1918 – the Penza period of history of the Czech-oslovakian Corps in Russia. It addresses how the tactics of the Corps have changed under the influence of military and political processes, as well as under the influence of central and local government agencies. It also addresses the rea sons for why the Czechoslovakian Corps moved from the principle of neutrality to an open military conflict.
