"Archiv" Kongregace Milosrdných sester sv. Karla Boromejského v Praze

The main aim of this article is to present documents which are deposited in the research roomof the Congregation of Sisters of Mercy of St. Borromeo in Praha III and Praha-Řepy as well as the forms of their archival processing. The article deals with the definition of the scale of deposited archival material, its classification and its rules of archival care which were established by the Sisters of Mercy of St. Borromeo. The conditions and activities of the research room are described here and the difficulties concerning the inventorying?? of archives and the lack of qualified people in general. In this article the archival material is divided into two main groups. These originated from real and historical activities of the congregation. In the introduction, there is a brief summary of the congregation and the circumstances which influenced the moving of the archival material as well as the condition of its existence.
