The study deals with the extrajudicial persecution of soldiers in the period following February 1948. It shows various forms of extrajudicial persecutions and their consequences in the years 1949 to 1952. The text, then, analyses the role of the Army Counterintelligence Service and its chief Bedřich Reicin in the progress of persecutions. The study confirms that extrajudicial persecutions formed the integral part of vast post-February persecutions against real and alleged opponents of Communist Regime and the fact that their consequences were the same as judicial persecution.
