Abstrakt
The study presents the selected findings of empirical research on historical consciousness implemented in 2011, focused on interests of pupils, students and teachers of Czech Schools in history. In addition to geographical, chronological, thematic perspective, motivation to acquire history knowledge was also the subject of research as a topic of discussions in families and among friends. Mixed qualitative and quantitative research was applied to gain as complex grasp of the topic as possible.
