Feature films about the 2nd World War, in contrast with the artistic reflection of the 1st World War or local conflicts of the Cold War, show a number of specifics. These specifics should be accepted while thinking about didactic and methodological concepts of history teaching and should be used in the development of media, or visual literacy.
