Abstrakt
He was born on 19. 2. 1878 in Lazce near Olomouc, in a farmer family. He studied flour-milling industry in Germany and worked on the farm. One of the founders of the Moravian Agrarian Party, after 1918 a member of the Revolutionary National Assembly. For a short period of time, he worked as Minister of Finance, administrator of Ministry of Agriculture and in management of the Bank Bohemia. He acted as president of the Anglo-Czechoslovak Bank and contributed to Czechisize of the bank. He belonged to the political peaks of the Agrarian Party. He organized Moravian agriculture, turned the sugar refinery in Kromeriz into peasant, souht to the development of agricultural educational system. He died on 29. 3. 1931 in Prague.
