Abstrakt
The article deals with the issue of relics of South-Bohemian mining in the historical landscape of South Bohemia. Local historical mines are based on a very old mining tradition. There were not only sources of quality fuels and ores, but also precious metals – gold and silver were mined. And a typically mined material was local graphite whose small part was processed in the region during production of high-quality pencils.
