Abstrakt
The purpose of this paper is to point out the importance of the hymn Nunc Dimittis (2:29–32) in the context of Luke’s double work (Luke-Acts). The significance of this hymn results on the one hand from the circumstances by which is delivered and the specific features of the person which it utters and on the other hand from its content whose explanation we will offer.
