This analytical and research article tackles the issue of failed attempts to restore or establish new Order of the Minims’ convents in the German-Czech-Hungarian province; it further examines the number of friars, their provincial origin and work they performed in convents in the 17th and 18th century, on the basis of the Necrologium and other sources on the history of the province.
