Volf Christopher of Liechtenstein was the representative of typical Renaissance aristocrat of the half of the 16th century. He did not focus on building his own economic base. His priority was life which he enjoyed to the fullest. He got bogged down in a series of disputes, whether noble over honor or debts. He left behind a daughter and a wife, who bore the severity of his debts.
