Complexity of deep and comprehensive study of the Czechs, who lived in Ukraine, was based on the fact that a researcher needed to speak perfect Czech, he needed to possess and combine knowledge and experience of a historian, philologist, ethnographer and in best case – come from a family of Czech expatriates.
