Vol.5,No.1(2011)

Abstract

Physical activity research on Masaryk University students was gathered through a questionnaire examination of 1327 respondents. Research proceeded in years 2008 and 2009 and brought a considerable number of significant results both in respect of health recommendations, adherence and in respondent’s residency. The summary of significant results is as followings. Men as a whole are more active than women. 65,3 % of students fulfilled at least one of recommendations for locomotion activity. As the area of locality grew the intensity of locomotion activity of men decreased. Highest intensity of locomotion activity of women was in big cities.
