FORAMINIFERY BRNĚNSKÝCH PÍSKŮ VE VRTU ČERNOVICE TGB-1

Foraminifera of the Lower Badenian Brno Sands of the Carpathian Foredeep from the TGB-1 Borehole near Brno were studied. Foraminiferal fauna comprises stratigraphical mixture of Lower Badenian, Karpatian, Middle Eocene, Turonian-Coniacian and Santonian species and may be completely reworked within the Lower Badenian. Sources of Miocene fauna are probably local outcrops of the Karpatian and Badenian. Cretaceous and Eocene foraminifera come probably from the Outer Flysch Carpathians.
