Olomouc bishopric dominant position within the church structures Czech state in 16.–17. century was reflected in several directions. One of them was wide jurisdiction, which in the period between episcopates passed on to the Olomouc Chapter. It was entrusted with the spiritual administration of the diocese and the election of a new bishop (jurisdictio in spiritualibus), but also competence in managing worldly affairs related to administration of the episcopal mensual and chamber possessions (jurisdictio in temporalibus). This paper aims to show just the basic normative framework of governance model farms Olomouc bishopric in the transitional period sede vacante.
