"Ecologically considerate products" and "ecological agriculture" programs mean a voluntary activity of producers who take their bearings on optional qualitative systems that are considerate towards the environment and human health.
These ecolabeling systems have not yet been legislatively regulated in the Czech Republic. The article focuses on legal problems which can develop in a case when ecolabeled products do not comly with producers' guaranty of higher standards.
The author also focuses on possible legal regulation "de lege ferenda" to protect consumers in a more efficient way.
